Graveside services for Audrey June Falls were held Friday, April, 3, 2009, at the Cabool Cemetery with the Rev. Jack Holland officiating. Pallbearers were Brad Rhodes, Josh Rhodes, Charles Robinson, John Stone, Cory Marler and Tyler Marler. Honorary pallbearers were Vincent Baird and Brandon Rhodes. Arrangements were under the direction of Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home of Cabool, MO.
Mrs. Audrey June Falls, 80, Royal Oak, Michigan and formerly of Cabool, MO passed away on Monday, March 30, 2009 at the Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI. She was born on June 24, 1928 in Woodville Township, OH the daughter of Clarence L. and Zelma (Shaw) Ford.
Audrey was united in marriage to Robert J. Falls on Aug. 15, 1947 and to this union five children were born, Gloria, Mary Jane, Robert, Jr., Thomas and Amy. The family resided in Ohio prior to moving to Cabool in 1977.
Audrey enjoyed gardening, crafts, upholstery, cooking and baking; but she especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert in 1988 and one sister. Audrey is survived by her children, Gloria King and husband, Kenneth of Leesburg, FL, Mary Jane Baird of Royal Oak, MI, Robert Falls, Jr and wife, Ji of South Korea, Thomas Falls and wife, Denise of Mountain Grove, MO and Amy Rhodes and husband, Brad of Mountain Grove, MO; 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
