John Powell, 76 of 1011 Webster, died in a Wichita Falls hospital Sunday.
Graveside rites will be at 10 A.M. Wednesday in Beaver Creek Cemetery near Electra with the Rev. Walter Evans
pastor of Hillcrest Baptist Church officiating.Burial will be under direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home.
Powell had been a resident of Wichita Falls for nine years.
He was born in Baylor County on Oct. 28, 1894. He was a retired pipe fitter.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Lena Beaty of Lubbock, Tx and a brother, Bill of Prescott, Ariz.
