Michael was my cousin, the oldest child of James Carroll(FAG) and Lucille(Stockbridge)Camber. Michael lived in a house in a field above my grandparents house, and whenever I was visiting them, Mike would walk down across the field to visit. He taught me how to play checkers. I think I was around 6 or 7 at the time. Michael liked to play football at Mount Desert Island High School and He played softball for the Swans Island League.
In addition to his mother, Michael is survived by his wife, Linda(Frost)Camber; two step-sons, Christopher Carlson and Scott Carlson; two brothers, Jimmy Camber and Jeffrey Camber; two sisters, Melinda and Melissa; and 5 grandchildren.
