Lester L. Ice, of Glover's Gap. W. Va., died at Union Protestant Hospital, Clarksburg, on Sept. 16 1970
He was born Sept. 6, 1901 at Coburn, the son of the late Evans Dent and Carolyn Reed Ice.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Getrude C. Neece Ice, and two daughters, Mrs. John (Virginia) Bice, Anmore, W. Va., and Mrs. Harold (Norma Jean) Hasenbubler, of Alamogordo, N.M.; seven grandchildren and I greatgrandson.
He was a retired machinist from the U.S. Naval Weapons Plant in Washington, D.C., a member of North Tucson Baptist Church, member of Camp Springs Masonic Lodge, Camp Srings, Md., and the I.O.O.F. Lodge, Wadestown, W.Va.
He had lived in Tucson the past few winters and just returned to West Virginia in July.
Funeral services were held at Mannington, on Sept. 19 conducted by Rev. Myland Amundson. Interment was in Mannington Memorial Park.
