Cecile I. Ullery, age 94, of 222 Parkview Street, Plymouth, Indiana, passed away at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, April 17, 2009, at Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home in Plymouth.

Cecile was born on March 26, 1915, in Bourbon Township, Indiana, to Frank and Carrie (Goodyear) Markley.
Cecile and Raymond Ullery were united in marriage on October 24, 1937, in Plymouth. Together they raised their three children. Cecile graduated from Plymouth High School and Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. She was a Teacher's Aid in the Jesse program for many years. Cecile enjoyed fishing and gardening, but mostly enjoyed her family, as well as being a member of the Plymouth Church of the Brethren.

Cecile is survived by her sons, Larry and Barb Ullery of Ohio and Randy and JoAnn Ullery of Bremen, Indiana; her daughter, Judy and Rod Miller of Plymouth; her grandson, Richard and Dawn Ullery of Bremen; three granddaughters, Melinda and Kyle Hawkins of Bremen, Cari Miller of Plymouth and Kenzie Miller of Plymouth; and six great-grandchildren. Cecile was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Carrie Markley; her husband, Raymond Ullery; her brother, Harold Markley; and her sister, Goldie Markley Kitch.

The VAN GILDER FUNERAL HOME is in charge of the arrangements. Funeral services for Cecile will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at the Plymouth Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. Paul Nye officiating. Burial will be in New Oak Hill Cemetery in Plymouth.

A time of visiting with the Ullery family will be on Monday, April 20, 2009, at the VAN GILDER FUNERAL HOME, 300 West Madison Street, Plymouth, Indiana, 46563, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and on Tuesday, April 21, 2009, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Plymouth Church of the Brethren, prior to the funeral.

The family would like for memorial contributions be given to the Church of the Brethren, 1130 North Michigan Street, Plymouth, Indiana, 46563.
