Wade E. Bosarge--of Montrose, CO, died Friday morning, Dec. 27, 2002, at his home in Montrose at age 72.
Wade E. Bosarge, the son of Augustus and Margaret Bosarge, was born on Jan. 4, 1930, at Bayou LaBatre, AL, where he spent his childhood, graduated from Alba High School, and grew to adulthood. He was a graduate of Auburn University in Auburn, AL, and Springhill College in Mobile, AL. His occupation started in the oil business but he also drove a truck for some time. Later in his life, Wade enjoyed being in the food catering business. He relocated to Montrose where he made his home until the time of his death.
Surviving family members who were privileged to share Wade's life include his wife, Patricia Bosarge, of Montrose, CO; and nine children: Janell Kyranikens, of Mobile, AL; Karen Newton, of Germantown, TN; Lisa Burch, of Mobile, AL; Wade Bosarge Jr., of Oklahoma, AR; Amy Price, of Duluth, GA; Austin Bosarge, of Petaluma, CA; Daniel Bray, of Des Moines, IA; Benjamin Bray, of Mobile, AL; and Kristeena Bosarge, of Montrose, CO.
Visitation for family and friends is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 31, from 9 to 10 a.m., service time, at the Pine Crest Funeral Home Chapel in Mobile, AL. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. at the chapel. Interment will follow in the Pine Crest Cemetery at Mobile, AL. Local arrangements are being handled under the direction of the CRIPPIN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY of Montrose, CO, (970) 249-2121.
