"SUSIE" SUSAN NANCY GARNETT-MORROW was born on 13 November 1871 in Bay City, Matagorda County, Texas, and she was the daughter of John Francis Garnett (1826-1912) and Narcissa Ann Williams (1833-1913).

"Susie" married Edward T. Morrow on April 20th, 1892, at Deming's Bridge Church, Matagorda County, Texas. Susie and Edward had TEN children of record:

Avis Dawn Morrow (1893 - 1984),
Francis "Frank" Edward Morrow (1896 - 1968),
Perry Banks Morrow (1898 - 1967),
Robert A. Morrow (1900 - 1962),
Brooks Irvin Morrow 1902 - 1969),
Henry Beck Morrow (1905 - 2000),
Edgar Theodore "Ted" Morrow (1907 - 2000),
Lawrence Garnett Morrow (1910 - 1985),
Ralph James "Jimmy" Morrow (1912 - 1935), &
Lois "Elaine" Morrow-Elledge (1915 - 1998).

Despite giving birth to so many children, Susie remained a petite 98 lbs all her life. Susie co-signed the deed to donate land for the Morrowville School, and taught at the school from 1904 to 1906.

Susie passed away on 18 September 1961, and was buried next to her husband at Memorial Park Cemetery, Victoria, Victoria County, Texas.
