Death Comes Suddenly to Miss Lois Cooney

Boulder, July 25--Miss Lois Cooney, the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Ed H. Cooney, of Great Falls, was found dead in her bed in the ranch home of her cousin, Mrs. William Kyler, early this morning. Miss Cooney came to Boulder some weeks ago with her mother and since her mother's return home had alternately visited with her aunt, Mrs. F.M. Johnson, and Mrs. Kyler. She had been affected with heart trouble since childhood, and it is presumed she had an attack during the night.

Her father, Ed Cooney, is postmaster at Great Falls and is also editor of the Great Falls Leader. Miss Cooney was about 17 years of age.

While she and her mother were visiting in Boulder several years ago they received word of the drowning of her only brother, Eugene, at Canyon Ferry, where he was stopping with his grandfather.
