Born in Mazon, IL, she was married .to Charles Throop in 1884.

She was a member of the Methodist church at Talbot.

Surviving are a son, George, Pine Village; a sister, Mrs. Ida Mace, St. Joseph, Mich., and a brother, Sylvester Foster, Covington.
