Jo Helton passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Good Friday, April 10, 2009. Born on November 4, 1922 in Leipsic, Ohio to Ethel and Harry Hoffman, she graduated from the University of Toledo with a degree in Pharmacy. She married Zedoc Helton in 1946. They were married for 58 years.

She is survived by her children, James Sutton of Mesquite TX, Kathleen Garten, Barbara Pendergast and Dianne Norman all of Colorado Springs and Mary Richardson of Mumford, TN as well as 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Dove-Witt Fountain Valley Chapel in Fountain on Tuesday, April 14th from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Services will be held at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church on Wednesday, April 15th, 9:00 a.m., followed by interment at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
