40-YEAR RESIDENT IS DEAD AT 73

Lewis K. Ford, 73, of 820 S. Florida Ave., died yesterday at his home. He had been a resident of DeLand for 40 years.

Mr. Ford was born June 9, 1890 in Francesville, Ind. and was a retired taxi cab driver.

He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, veteran of World War I, and Barracks 484, DeLand.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Vivian Ford, DeLand; three sons, Art and John Winfrey, both DeLand, and Howard Winfrey, Jacksonville; three daughters, Mrs. Vivian Stephenson, Winter Park. Mrs, Betty Skinner, Jacksonville, and Mrs. Marion Englerth, Houston; two brothers, Elmer Ford, Franklin, N. C., and Arthur Ford, Chicago; one sister, Mrs. Elsie Nichols, Miami; and 17 grandchildren afnd one great grandchild.
