According to George's Obit, he was born in Hergsheim, Bavian, Germany. The son of George & Margaret (Keister) Kramer. Arrived in the U.S.A. @ age 11.

He married Emma C. Jorgensen on the 28 Nov 1900 and they had 3 children:

Florence (Woods) 8 June 1906 - 19 April 1991
Mildred (Jorgensen) 12 Mar 1909 - 8 Oct 1999

Emma 19 May 1881 - 7 July 1928.

George marries Ella H. (Zornig) Hagberg on 12 Dec 1931. She has 4 children, Arnold, Albert, John and Jean Hagberg.
Ella: 18 Feb 1884 - 18 July 1944.

All are buried @ Springdale Cemetery.

George Jay Kramer 2137 Camanche Ave. age 64 died Friday evening in Mercy Hospital after a prolonged illness the body will repose in Bragonier-Fay funeral home where services will be held at 3:30 PM Monday with the Rev. George W Krueger officiating burial will be in Springdale cemetery.
Mr. Kramer was affiliated with Wapsie aerie, F. O. Eagles. For many years he was employed by the Clinton company as a blacksmith.
George J Kramer was born in Hergsheim, Bavian, Germany February 28, 1879 percent of Margaret and George Kramer he came to this country at the age of 11 with his family who settled in Clinton was married Emma C. Jorgensen, November 28 1903 children we're going to be them Mrs. Kramer preceded him in death July 7, 1928 and a son George ever died December 18, 1927 his parents two brothers and two sisters also preceded him in death.
