BILLY CARROLL SR., 63, died Sunday, July 27, 288 at the Jewish Hospital in Shelbyville. He was a member of Burks Branch Baptist Church. Member of the Volunteer Fire Department in Wake Valley, Texas. Veteran of the United State Air Force.
He is preceded in death by: brothers, Clovis, Donald, Marion and Walter Betts.
He is survived by: his wife, Betty Louise Betts of Shelbyville; his daughter, Kim (John) Wallshield of Louisville; and his son, Dr. Billy (Autumn) Betts, Jr. of Shelbyville; four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday July 30, 2008 at Shannon Funeral Home. Dr. Billy Betts will officiate. Burial will follow in Grove Hill Cemetery, Shelbyville.
Visitation: 4-8 PM Tuesday at Shannon Funeral Home.
