William Herndon Tucker, 85, 1933 19th St. E., died August 2, 2001 at Tuscaloosa. Services will be held at Memory Chapel on Saturday, August 4, 2001 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Memory Hills Gardens.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William Howard and Daisy Vick Tucker; seven brothers, Ulma, Delmar, Cecil, Charles, Jasper, Howard, Jr., Asby; and one sister, Mildred.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Hamilton Tucker; daughter, Shirley Nicholls (Frank) of Lawrenceburg, Tenn.; son, Steve Tucker (Neda) of Northport; sisters, Virginia Gandy of Hattiesburg, Miss., Hazel Barr of Half Acre; grandchildren, Shannon Miller of Birmingham, Travis Tucker of Northport.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
