Charles A. Williams

Dundee, MI - Charles A. Williams, 83, of 201 Barnum St., Dundee, died at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Monroe Hospital, Monroe where he had been since Thursday. He had been ill for four years.

Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Buhl Funeral Home here, with the Rev. Ronald Corl of Macon and the Rev. Charles Bragg of Dundee officiating. Burial will be in MapleGrove Cemetery here.

The son of James and Mary M. (Goldsmith) Williams, he was born March 25, 1879, in Allen County, Ohio. He married Maude I. Folk Oct. 26, 1902, at Leipsic, Ohio. They farmed there until April 6, 1917, when they came to Dundee and continued farming until several years ago.

He is survived by his wife, three sons, Wilbur, Serge and Carl, all of Dundee; a brother Glen of Mount Cory, Ohio; a half sister, Mrs. Maude Wilcox of California; two stepsisters; six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. A son, Glee died in 1933. Two brothers, three sisters and a half sister also preceded him in death.
