Beryl L. Calhoun, 88, of Wayne Toenship near New Bethlehem, died Friday, July 17,2009, in a farming accident. He was a lifelong dairyman and resident of Armstrong County. He was a veteran of WWII serving as a Bombadier Instructor in the Army Air Corps.

Son of the late Robert Calhoun and Pearl (Sowers) Calhoun, he was born July 6, 1921. He was husband to the late Carrie (Rood) Calhoun, father of Gregory Calhoun, Pamela (Calhoun) Thyfault, Brent Calhoun, and Phillip Calhoun, grandfather of five, brother of the late Romaine (Calhoun) Damich, Lester Calhoun, Jean (Calhoun) Woodall, Jane (Calhoun) Jewert, and the late Donald Calhoun.

Friends Welcome from 2-4 and 7-9pm Wednesday in the SNyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 South McKean St. Kittanning,PA 16201. A memorial service will be held at 11am Thursday in the Goheenville Presbyterian Church. with Pastor Ronald Long officiating. Burial Will be held in The Mateer Cemetery with full military honors.
