Fioravanti Cicardini and Florenza were married in 1910 in Gudo, Switzerland. They came to the United States in 1911 settling in Santa Cruz where Fioravanti was employed as lumberjack. In 1915 they moved to the King City area where Fioravanti worked for his uncle Charles (Chas) Lombardi. The couple moved to their Metz road ranch home in 1917 where they remained. Relatives and friends gathered on Feb. 8, 1970 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of their marriage. Helping them celebrate were nieces and nephews; Arnold Togni, Elio Pura, Ben Masciorini, Mrs. Luciano Stoppa, Sylvana Marconi and their families. Other adults there were Mr. & Mrs. Joe Lombardi and family, Mr. & Mrs. Agusto Radavero, Ed Foletta, Mr. & Mrs. Steve Tamo, Mr.& Mrs. Emilio Canevascini, Mr. & Mrs. Ben Rusconi, and Mr. & Mrs. Silvio Shiarini.
