EDENTON - Carroll Cleveland Privott, 85, of Route 1, died Sept. 17, 1993, in Chowan Hospital Skilled Care Facility.
A native of Chowan County, Mr. Privott was a retired farmer and the son of the late Robert Lee and Victoria Halsey Privott. He was a member of Rocky Hock Baptist Church, where he was a former deacon.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian White Privott; one daughter, Francis Privott Harris of Virginia Beach; one son, Thomas L. Privott of Matthews; three stepdaugthers, Janet Lane and Brenda Bunch, both of Tyner, and Nancy Hobbs of Hertford; one sister, Minnie Tidwell of Franklin, Va.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; 11 stepgrandchildren; and eight stepgreat-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Rocky Hock Baptist Church by the Rev. Donald Wagner. Burial will be in Beaver Hill Cemetery. Williford-Barham Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Rocky Hock Baptist Church Fellowship Hall Fund.
