George Eugene Curtright, 54, of Senath, Mo., died Sunday, April 19, 2009, at his residence in Senath.
George was born Feb. 14, 1955, in Cardwell, Mo., to William Joseph and Ruthie Juanita Massey Curtright.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ruthie Curtright; one sister, Janice Long and one brother, Richard Curtright.
He is survived by his lifelong partner, Julie Vance, of Senath; three brothers, Leroy Curtright and William Joseph Curtright, Jr., of Caulfield, Mo., and Gary Curtright, of Senath. Sisters include Betty Lowder, of Bloomsdale, Mo., Charlotte Shubert, Kathy Bowling, Patsy Whitlock, Irma Rooney, of Kennett and Debbie Collins, of Bragg City, Mo.
Other survivors include Jack Lowder, Bob Shubert, Glen Whitlock, Johnny Rooney, T.J. Collins, Ronnie Bowling, Deloris Curtright, Martha Curtright, Stephanie Curtright and Sherry Curtright. He is also survived by three step-children, Tammy Roberts, of Kennett, Cindy Ward, of Hollywood, Mo., and Julie Winchester, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, with the fourth on the way, several nieces and nephews and dear close friends.
McDaniel Funeral Home of Senath is in charge of funeral arrangements.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made at McDaniel Funeral Home in Senath to help pay funeral expenses.
The family is planning a memorial service for George at a later date.
