Anna Abbott was the daughter of Benjamin M. and Malinda Cook Thomas. She married Avery Abbott on December 18, 1936, in Somerset, Kentucky.

She is survived by her son, William J. (Tamara) Abbott;, daughter-in-law, Tonya R. Abbott grandchildren, Tammy Storey, Tina (Mark) Brandon, Troy (Monica) Abbott, Karen (Darren) Ross, Travis (Joy) Fox and Traci (Tony) Kaufman, eleven great-grandchildren and sisters-in-law Helen Thomas and Bea Thomas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Tom Abbott, two brothers, Ezra and Jesse Thomas and two sisters, Wilma Davis and Versie Thomas.
