Sandra J. Armstrong, 56, of Bellville, died Wednesday, May 17, 2006, at Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey, Michigan. Born December 11, 1949, in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Marvin and Lois (Arnold) Fulton. A lifelong area homemaker, Mrs. Armstrong graduated from Lexington High School. She was a member of Owl Creek Church of the Brethren in Ankenytown and enjoyed researching her genealogy. Mrs. Armstrong loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and enjoyed camping, mushroom hunting, traveling and swimming.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Ron Armstrong; two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Sandra Armstrong of Bellville and Michael and Martha Armstrong of Butler; four grandchildren, Heather, Devin, Mary Ann, and Kelly; her parents, Marvin and Lois Fulton of Bellville; brother, Rick Fulton of Lexington; nephew, Jake Fulton of Lexington; and niece, Jennifer Kvochick of Perrysville.
Friends may call Sunday, May 21 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home officiated by Pastor Collin Abbitt. Burial will follow in Lexington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
