Kathleen (Kay) Mitchley passed away peacefully at home, in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, on 15th March 2009 aged 98 years.
So dearly loved and now greatly missed by her Daughter, Jenny.
Widow of Harold Ernest Mitchley (26/4/1911-1979) whom she married in 1948.
Private Burial followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at Culverden Evangelical Church, St. John's Road, Tunbridge Wells on Tuesday 24th March 2009.
Jenny is my friend from our school days together.
Her Mother was the greatest streamstress I have ever met.
For many years she taught wives, Mothers, daughters & friends in and around Tunbridge Wells, how to make the most wonderful clothes.
My late Mother enjoyed her lessons and was sad to leave them, when we moved away from Tunbridge Wells. "She made everything look so easy. She would move a couple of pins and fix any problem"
She will be greatly missed by her daughter Jenny.

How God created mother
God took the fragrance of a flower,
The majesty of a tree,
The gentleness of morning dew,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The beauty of a twilight hour,
The soul of a starry night
The laughter of the rippling brook,
The grace of a bird in flight,
Then God fashioned from these things
A creation like no other,
And when His masterpiece was through,
He called it simply...MOTHER.
