Relatives at Westfield got word Sunday about A.G. Baldwin's death from Phoenix, Arizona, was shocked because they were not notified about his illness. They concluded that his death must be sudden. A.G. was at age of 60
He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Gale White Baldwin, a Westfield girl before her marriage, and the following sisters: Mrs. Paul Brown, Mrs. Mollie McKinley, and Mrs. Ida Jeffries, all residents of Westfield.
Born and reared in Westfield, being a son of Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Baldwin. Brother of the late Dr. J.L. Baldwin, for many years a practicing physician of Westfield and also a brother of the late L.S. Baldwin, an attorney of Noblesville and prosecuting attorney in Hamilton county during the nineties.
For anumber ofyears Mr. Baldwin conducted a drug store in Noblesville,being located in the business room on the south side of the public square where the Ben Zeckel store is now doing business. Twelve or fifteen years ago he became a victim of a severe attack of asthma and other complications that achange of climate would benefit him, that was why he and his wife moved to far southwest and they located in Phoenix where he secured employment in the pharmacy department of a large drug store.
