James C. Dupree, Jr., 69, of 1003 Tennessee Street, died Friday, 10-19-1984 following a lingering illness. A son of the late Claude & Mary Lou Sparkman Durpee, he was a retired plumber and a veteran of WW II. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Rudy York, of Cartersville, two daughters, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 10-20-1984 from the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe York officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Gideon Society. Owen Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
