Freesoil – Funeral services for Herbert LaGuire of Honor were held Wednesday afternoon from Reorganized Latter Day Saints Church in Inland with Elder Ernest Burt of Onaway, who baptized Mr. LaGuire thirty years ago, in charge.
Elder Charles Martin of the Freesoil Church offered prayers.
Mrs. Arlene Blood, at the piano, accompanied Mrs. Chester Mead, who sang"I Come to the Garden," "Somewhere the Sun Is Shining" and "beautiful Isle of Somewhere". Mrs. Blood also played during the service.
George LaGuire of Ludington and Darl LaGuire of Freesoil were among the pallbearers. Burial was in Inland cemetery.
Elder and Mrs. Martin, Mr. and Mrs. Darl LaGuire, Mrs. Elsie LaGuire and Mrs. Henry Grinnell attended the services from Freesoil and Mrs. Harold Johnson from Ludington. Mrs. Elsie LaGuire remained at the LaGuire residence in Honor for several days
