Wilbur Walter "Bud" Bland, JR., 60, of Clarksburg, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2001, at his home after a long illness.
Born February 15, 1941, he was the son of Macie Erskine Bland of Sinks Grove and the late Wilbur W. Bland, SR.
He had been a resident of Clarksburg, WV for 30 years and was formerly of Greenbrier County. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #52 of Clarksburg and a retired truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, Emma Lou Bland of Clarksburg; three daughters, Alberta Bland and Kathy Bland, both of Clarksburg, Yvonne Register of Covington, VA; son, Jack Keener of Clarksburg; three sisters, Joyce Hoke of Sinks Grove, Sue Fritz of Baltimore, MD, Charlotte Clarkson of Gap Mills; six brothers, Harold Bland, Johnny Bland, and Ernest Bland, all of Sinks Grove, Oscar Bland of Florida, Jerry Bland of Fairlea, Albert Bland of Ronceverte; and five grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday at 11 AM, at Longanacre Funeral Home Chapel, Fairlea, with Rev. Calvin Weikel officiating.
Burial will follow at James Chapel Memorial Cemetary, Hoke Mill Road, Ronceverte.
