Arthur John "Bud" Watkins, 53, died at 2:30 am Wednesday, May 22, in Michigan City. Born Nov 6, 1942, in Fayetteville, NC he spent most of his life in Lafayette. He was a truck driver and formerly drove for Mayflower moving and storage. Survivors include two sons, John Christopher Wakins of Lafayette and Joseph Watkins of Crawfordsville; two daughters Jennifer Marie Watkins of Crawfordsville and Eva Marie Watkins of Otterbein; his mother, Gladys M Graham Watkins of Clarks Hill; his father, John W Watkins of Lafayette; a brother James Robert Heath of Brookston and a sister, Mrs William L [JoAnn "Patty"] Jackson of Clarks Hill.
