Michael Allen Abbott, 56 of Gautier , MS passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2008 in New Orleans , LA.
Michael was born August 20, 1951 in Spartanburg, South Carolina to Clarence and Josie Abbott. He was a Sr. Systems Analyst for the Department of Agriculture. He moved to the coastal area in 1974 and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He enjoyed playing golf and was an avid New Orleans Saints Fan.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Josie Abbott and former wife Kathy Abbott.
He is survived by his father, Clarence Abbott of Gautier, Ms; a brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Christina Abbott of Vancleave, MS; two nieces , Katherine Renee Abbott and Brandy Nicole Abbott; a nephew, Mark Wayne Abbott all of Vancleave and numerous friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, June15, 2008 from 5-8pm at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home Gautier, MS. The rosary to be recited at 5:00pm
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, June 16, 2008 at 11am at St Mary's Catholic Church with Father John McGrath as the celebrant.
Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Ocean Springs, MS.
