CHAS. W. KINCHELOE DEAD

C.W. Kincheloe, Sr., a pioneer of Washington township, and a long time resident
of Mayview, died at his home about 3 o'clock p.m. June 10th, aged 78 years. The
funeral services were conducted by Elder L.B. Coggins at 2 p.m. in the Christian
church, in which he had his membership, confessing his faith in Christ when a
young man. The remains were taken to Mt. Hebron cemetery and laid away to rest
until time shall be no more. He leaves three sons, James, Charles, and Robert,
and two daughters, Miss Stella and Miss Alma, and one grand-daughter, Miss Grace
Bradsher, of Kansas City. They have the sympathy of the community in their
bereavement.

Charles W. Kincheloe
Was born May 29, 1834 at Hardinsburg, Kentucky, and came to Missouri at the age of ten. He lived in Cooper county for two years and then moved to Lafayette county. He was married to Mary C. Stone September 30th, 1856. Two children were born to them, James and Ella. She is now dead. His first wife died August 17, 1866, and he was married the second time to Marion Frances Dalton September 25, 1872. They had four children, Stella, Charles W. Jr., Robert and Alma. His second wife died in November 1895. There is one living grandchild, Grace Bradshaw. He joined the Christian church when 19 years old, and was a devoted member until his death. He died the 10th day of June, 1912, aged 78 years and 12 days. He was engaged in the livery business at Mayview, Mo., for several years, and until he engaged in that business was a farmer. He was always firm in his convictions, an ardent worker for temperance and all other morals for the betterment of mankind.
