Sisters and best friends, Alexis (16) and Amanda (15) Johnson were welcomed home, into the arms of our loving Heavenly Father in the early morning hours of April 16, 2009. They died of injuries sustained in a traffic accident near Las Vegas, Nevada.

Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, they were happy, active teenagers, busy with school, seminary, and Young Women activities.

They were exemplary young women who loved the Lord, always serving others, exhibiting great love for their parents, their sisters and brother, their friends and all those with whom they associated. They are the second and third daughters born to Joel and Nikky (Asper) Johnson and siblings of Abby (20) Alyssa (11), Adam (9), and Analise (4); all of Highland, Utah. In addition to their parents and siblings, Alexis and Amanda are survived by grandmothers: Dorothy Johnson and JoAnn Morris as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. They were deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
