Mike Alan Adams, 47, of Odessa, MO, died April 17, 2009 in LaCygne, KS. He was born April 14, 1962 in Independence, MO, the son of Johnny W. Adams and Joan Crochran Adams.
He lived in Independence until his family moved to Odessa in 1967.
He worked for the Patton Scaffolding Co. and was employed at the KCPL Power Plant in LaCygne, KS.
He graduated from Odessa High School in 1980.
He was a member of the Local 1290 Laborers Union in Kansas City, KS.
Survivors include his parents, Johnny and Joan Adams of the home; a sister, Lisa Small of Odessa, MO; a niece and nephew; aunts and uncles; cousins; and other family members of Salem, AR.
Funeral services were April 22 at the Church of Christ with Rev. Greg Ziegler officiating. Burial followed in Greenton Cemetery in Odessa, MO. Arrangements were under the direction of Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home of Odessa, MO.
Pallbearers were Kent Corbett, Brent Corbett, Kent Sanders, Bob Bainbridge, Tommy Scott and Gary Small.
Honorary pallbearers were Chase Small and Jim Deshepper.
