Jalyric Boykin, age 6, of Tenaha, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Shelby Regional Hospital in Center. Services will be Saturday, 2 PM at First Baptist Church in Tenaha, Texas. Interment to follow at St. Johns Cemetery in Tenaha, with Rev. Rusk Atwood to officiate.

Grandmother, Betty Boykin of Tenaha
Jalyric and her brother, Nathan Cooks, were hit by a truck as they waited for their school bus. Jalyric died that day; Nathan was taken off of life support the next morning. Jalyric had almost finished her kindergarten year and Nathan was in preschool.
