AUSTINBURG - Elizabeth Marie Luoma, 93, formerly of Ashtabula died on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at Austinburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born September 6, 1913 in Ashtabula, the daughter of Silas Deflin and Pearl (Holt) Deflin Anderson and had been a lifelong resident.
A graduate of Ashtabula High School, she was a former member of Prospect Presbyterian Church and enjoyed her family and grandchildren.
Her survivors include two children, Edward (Cindra) Luoma of Geneva and Linda Jana of Little Rock, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Nathan, Mark, Jeff, Jimmie, Todd, and Kevin; 2 great-grandchildren; and two nieces, Janet Nyari and Mary Bucci.
She was preceded in death by her husband, U. Victor Luoma; one son, Richard Luoma; one sister, Beatrice Loftus; one brother, Howard Deflin; and her parents.
A service will be held 11 AM on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at the Ducro Funeral Services and Crematory, 4524 Elm Avenue, Ashtabula. Rev. Arvid Whitmore, Pastor of Trinity Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Saybrook Cemetery.
Calling hour will be at the funeral home Saturday, March 17 from 10 to 11 AM.
