WEBSTER, SHERMAN S. - 79, of RFD 2, St. Albans, died Monday at his home after an extended illness. He was a life-long resident of the city and a retired farmer. Surviving are his wife, Cora; five sons, Arnold of South Charleston, Charles and Simon of St. Albans, Roy of Poca and Herman of Spring Hill; three daughters, Mrs. T.O. Lilly of Alum Creek, Mrs. W.W. Hughes of Spring Hill and Mrs. N. E. Alford of St. Albans; one brother, T.H. Webster of RFD 3, St. Albans; five sisters, Mrs. Julia Campbell, Mrs.Kate Taylor of St. Albans, Mrs. Mary Farrell of St. Petersburg, Fla., Mrs. S. W. Terry of Nitro and Mrs. Frank Hayes of St. Louis, Mo. The body is at the Allen-Casdorph mortuary of St. Albans, and will be taken to the home Tuesday at 3 P.M., where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 P.M., with Rev. Frank Good and Rev. Granvel Terry officiating. Burial will follow in the family cemetery near the home.
