She was born July 24, 1914 in Bentley, daughter of the late Harold and Esther (Hossler) Lefler. She attended Midland Schools and was a graduate of Midland High School. The former Gladys Marie Lefler married Wilfred H. Fahlsing on August 9, 1946 in Midland. He predeceased her on November 5, 1971. Gladys had worked for many years as a secretary in accounting for Bandeen Chevrolet, retiring in 1979. She was a long-time member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She is survived by two sons, Kim (Carol) Fahlsing and Kurt (Dawn) Fahlsing, all of Midland; one brother, Leslie Lefler of California; three sisters, Grace Costley of Traverse City, Genevieve Kohtz of Midland and Ila Fahlsing of North Dakota. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by one brother, Harold Lefler
