ILION - Edward "Ted" C. Allston, age 75, of 33 Wayne St., Ilion, retired superintendent of the Ilion Water Department, died Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at Bassett Hospital, Cooperstown, N.Y.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, April 30, 2009 at the Church of the Annunciation, West Street, Ilion where a Memorial Mass will be celebrated by Father Anthony Barratt, pastor. Interment will be in Armory Hill Cemetery, Ilion, next to his parents. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to the Ilion Knights of Columbus Benevolent Fund. Envelopes will be available at the church service or anytime at the Applegate-Day & Enea Family Funeral Home.
All funeral arrangements were prearranged and entrusted to Applegate-Day & Enea Family Funeral Home, 102 West St., Ilion, Don Applegate, Funeral Director.
