Rites Held Sunday For Mrs. Bradshaw Who Dies at Hollis

Heart Attack Takes 20-Year Resident of Wheeler; Was Visiting In Home of Daughter.

Funeral services were held at the Wheeler Church of Christ Sunday afternoon for Mrs. J.A. Bradshaw 55, who died from a heart attack Saturday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Pat Patterson in Hollis, Okla. She had been visiting her daughter the past weekend and was seemingly in good health.

The Bradshaw family has lived in Wheeler county for the past 20 years. Mrs. Bradshaw was born December 5, 1881 at Booneville, Miss, died February 27, 1937. She was married to J.A. Bradshaw, December 13 1899 in Denton county and moved to Wheeler in 1916.
Mrs. Bradshaw is survived by her husband, J.A. Bradshaw and five children, Mrs. W.S. Patterson, Hollis, Okla., Mrs. Olin Pendleton, Charley Bradshaw and Mrs. Otis Reid of Wheeler and Mrs. Owen Jones of Briscoe and fourteen grandchildren.
Her mother, Mrs. D.B. Jordan of Hollis and two sisters, Mrs. O.R. Hickman, Hollis and Mrs. W.R. Slagle, Shamrock and three brothers., Lunsford, Charley and Haskell Jordan all of Hollis.

Mrs. Bradshaw had been an active member of the Church of Christ for 30 years.
Service for Mrs. Bradshaw was held by C.C. Merritt, pastor of Wheeler Church of Christ, assisted by Rev. Cooper of Shamrock.

Burial was made in the Wheeler cemetery with the Hunt Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbearers were Patt Patterson, Olin Pendleton, Otis Reid, Owen Jones, W.R. Slagle and O.R. Hickman. Flower girls were Mrs. Sandifer, Mrs. Bob Ramsey, Mrs. Ira Passons, Mrs. Jess Crowder, Mrs. O. Nation and Mrs. Balch.

Mr. and Mrs. Al Jolly, Melvin Pillars and Hester Dodson composed a quartet who sang ”Heaven Hold All to Me.”
