Patricia A. Chance, 80, of Bloomington, died on Friday, April 24, at Bloomington Hospital.

She was born on May 22, 1928, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Harry E. and Mary (Dobson) Todd.

She was a homemaker and longtime member of St. Charles Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Daughters of Isabella and Delta Theta Tau philanthropic sorority in Bloomington. She was a graduate of St. John's High School in Indianapolis.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Russell Chance; four sons and daughters-in-law, John and Martina Chance of Bloomington, Harry M. and Kim Chance of San Antonio, TX., Thad A. and Karla Chance of St. Charles, Mo. and Todd R. and Tammy Chance of Chatham, IL; three grandchildren, Ashley Shelley, Courtney Chance and Thomas Chance; and one great-grandchild, Cambryn Shelley.

She was preceded in death by four sisters, Margaret Richey, Cecelia Deeter, Mildred Stone and Mary Catherine Bailey.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Charles Catholic Church with Father William Stumpf officiating. Entombment will be at Valhalla Memory Gardens.

Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 9 to 11 a.m.

Allen Funeral Home, 4155 S. Old State Road 37 in Bloomington, is in charge of arrangements.
