Pless R. Venable, Sr. 74, of Ft. Smith, formerly of Paris, died Monday, March 3,
at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith.
He was born August 10, 1911. He was a retired welder and pipe fitter.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 6, at White Funeral
Home Chapel in Paris. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Paris, under the
direction of White Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Golda Venable of the home in Fort Smith; two sons,
Pless R. Venable, Jr. of Claremore, Okla., and James Henry Venable of Fort Smith;
four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
