Miss Reva Alford, 79, of Sod Lincoln County, died March 22, 1989, in Continuous Care Nursing Home, Hamlin, after a long illness. She was a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church, Garretts Bend. Surviving: brothers, Tom Alford of Teays Valley, Fred Alford of Sod; sisters, Verlie Cross of Parkersburg, Amy Thomas of Nitro. Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Koontz Funeral Home, Hamlin, with the Rev. Clark Bryan officiating. Burial will be in Sanson [Sansom] Cemetery, Garretts Bend. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
