Lowell - Glenn Highfill Jones, 87, of Lowell died July 28, 2000, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born January 29, 1913 in Lowell to Orville and Minnie McDaniel Jones. He was a retired employee of Cities Service Petroleum Company. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Lowell and was a Mason for 55 years.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Frances Carlton Jones, one son, Glenn Nolan Jones of Lubbock, Texas, one daughter and son-in-law, Virginia Ann Jones and Bob of Sulphur, LA; five grandchildren, Nolan Jones of Lowell, John Jones of Nashville, TN, Kimberly Jones of Austin, Texas, Shantay Peloquin of Dallas, Texas and Derek Babineaux of Raleigh, NC.
Services will be at 2pm, Monday at Sisco Chapel in Springdale with the Rev. Gary Thomas and the Rev. Johnny Harp officiating. Burial will be in Spring Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers are John Jones, Nolan Jones, Derek Babineaux, David Moffitt, Jay Phipps and Preston Peloquin.
Visitation will be at 2pm today at the funeral home.
