Funeral services for Ms. Geraldine Beverley will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 22, 2017, at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, Louisiana with the Rev. Lyndon Marcotte officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Gardner, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
Ms. Beverley, age 85, of Boyce, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Thursday, May 18, 2017 in her residence.
Geri was a native of Illinois. She was a retired registered nurse after many years having worked locally for Fair Oaks Nursing Home and Rapides Regional Medical Center. She believed in the celebration of life and death should be a celebration of joy and love.
Ms. Beverley is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest & Loraine Osborn; her husband, Henry C. Beverley; her daughter, Alice Munson; her son, Henry S. Beverley and her sister, Alice Jean Osborn.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters Cheryl Phillips of Gardner, Tammy Valenzuela (David) of Alexandria, Maryan Domrose (Karl) of Gardner; her sons, Darryl S. Beverley (Sylvia) of Gardner, Harry L Beverley (David) of Pineville; 13 grandchildren & 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. and will resume Monday, May 22, 2017 at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, at 12:00 noon until time of service.
