Martha Priest Obituary, died June 5, 1921

Mrs. Martha P. Priest died at her late home in Palmer at 10:45 p.m. Sunday. She has been a resident of Palmer for 35 years. She was married to S. C. Priest at Greencastle, Indiana on October 16. 1875. They moved to Tinson, Tennessee in 1883 and to Palmer in 1885. Mr. Priest departed this life in 1891.
Deceased is survived by four children; Mrs. Minnie Packard of Sherburn, Minnesota; F. Corbin Priest, postmaster at Palmer; Robert W. Priest and Mrs. Bettie Blanchard, also of Palmer. Also eight grandchildren survive, as well as one brother, Rev. James Sadler of Terre Haute, Indiana, and one sister, Mrs. Minnie Maybill of Lagoda, Indiana.
She has long been a member of the Advent Church at Palmer and the funeral services will be held there at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, the pastor, Rev. A. P. Ferrill, officiating. Interment will follow in the Addison, formerly the Traylor Cemetery.
