Frances E. Voepel





Frances E. Voepel, 95, of Palmyra, Missouri, died at 6:45 P. M. Sunday at her home. Frances was born December 29, 1913 in Marion County, Missouri to Abe and Caroline Kempf Wilson. Frances married Frederick J. " Fritz" Voepel April 30, 1943 in Palmyra, Mo.. He preceded her in death October 14, 2003. She is survived by sons: Glenn ( Cleo) Voepel of Philadelphia; Larry ( Kim) Voepel of Palmyra; sister, Dorothy Ellis of Bettendorf, Ia.; 8 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by brothers, Paul and Harold Wilson. Frances was a homemaker and farm wife. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and was active in Ladies Aid for many years. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Wednesday at the Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra. Rev. David Johnson will officiate. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Palmyra, Mo.. Visitation will be from 10:00 A M until time of services Wednesday at the Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church . Casket Bearers will be Rick Voepel, Jerry Voepel, Brad Voepel, Brent Voepel, John Voepel, and Sherri Hill. Honorary Bearers are Wade Mann, James Mann, Christin Voepel,and Joni Bickle.
