Albert T. Ellwood of Riverhead, died Friday evening in Central Suffolk Hospital, Riverhead. He had been confined there for several weeks after undergoing a heart operation. He was 61 years of age.
He was a son of Patrick C. and Martha J. Goff Ellwood.
Mr. Ellwood was a resident of Riverhead for 37 years and was superintendent of operations of the R.C.A. facilities in Riverside, just south of Riverhead.
He leaves his wife, Clair; four children, Roger, John, Mrs. Patricia (Russell)Goodwin, and Mrs. Donna (Albert) Zlatniski, and five grandchildren, all of Riverhead; a brother, Ross of Gainesville, Fla., and two sisters, Mrs. Josephine (James)Childers and Mrs. Jane (Maurice) Canoles, both of Kentucky.
