Mass and Christian Burial for Henry J. Reller, 68, will be Saturday, October 24, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patricks Catholic Church, in Lead, SD.
Christian Wake and Rosary Service will be conducted Friday, October 30, at 7:00 p.m. at the church. The Rev. James Becht will officiate.
Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Lead under the direction of Fidler Funeral Chapel, Lead
Reller was born October 18, 1919 in Waite Park, MN. to Henry and Catherine (Guck) Reller.
He lived in Lead from 1949 when he began work for Homestake Mining Company. He retired from Homestake Mining Company in 1984.
Reller was an avid fisherman and hunter, enjoying the Fall of the year especially.
He was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Loyola Order of the Moose and was a member of the Homestake Veterans Group.
Survivors include five brothers; Ted, Detroit Lakes, MN.; Leonard and Greg, Ogema, MN; Fritz of Lead; John of Worthington, MN.; and two sisters; Agnes Berg, Little Fork; and Edna Spry, Lead.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Kaye Hanks in 1963.
