Son of Carlyle Nelson Cox & Reva Rigby, the Eldest of six sons. Bill died at the age 67, of a heart attack while hiking on the George Washingon National Forest in West Virginia.

Married Clarice Christensen May of '67 while working in the Nation's Capital. Together they have five children and thirteen grandchildren.

Served an LDS Mission in the Central Atlantic States from '60-'62. Spent five years in the Utah National Guard. Attended Snow College followed by Utah State University and received a BS in Electrical Engineering in '65.

Lived overseas for over 10 years (Iran, Greece, Ethiopia, England and the Philippines Islands and also Miami, Florida) of his career as a government official. Retired as a Senior Officer with 34 years of service. Enjoyed many exciting times while serving overseas including being assigned to Manila, when "People Power" took down Ferdinand Marcos.

After retiring, worked as an independent contractor doing consulting work in Communications Security for the Washington Intelligence Community.

Worked in the Washington D.C. Temple for six years. Enjoyed many church jobs, he was the very best home teacher anyone could ask for! His last being the High Priest Group Leader.
