Gloria (Glo) McMillan passed away peacefully in her sleep Sept. 7th 2007, while watching television with her dogs Pandy and Muffin at her feet. She was an avid D-backs and Suns fan and rarely missed watching or listening to a game. Gloria was born November 23, 1930 in Wichita Kansas, to Earl and Verona Brown. She had a brother Douglas and is survived by her sister Patsy. In 1950 she found her one true love, Gale McMillan a young Air Force GI from a nearby base. On their first date Gale told her he was going to marry her and true to his word they were married 6 months later and shared the rest of their lives together until Gale's death shortly before their 50th anniversary. They loved to travel and had seen most of the world together. They have two sons, Rock and Kelly, 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. In 1973 Gale and Glo started a small business in the firearms industry making fiberglass stocks. From that humble beginning working on the dining room table, and with the help of their sons, the McMillan family of businesses has become recognized worldwide as the leaders in the industry, employing nearly 100 people. Most of their employees have never known Gloria as anything other than "Grandma."
