BURIAL IN MEADOW BRANCH CEMETERY
Mrs Effie Mae Trull, age 89, of Kennedy, AL passed away October 27, 2004 at her residence. Mrs. Trull was born August 18, 1915 to the late James Albert and Ethel Mae Price Godfrey. She was a life long native of Kennedy and a member of the Meadow Branch Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Friday, Oct 29, 2004 at 2:00 pm from the Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. James Godsey and Bro. J. C. Rushing were the officiating ministers. Burial followed in the Meadow Branch Cemetery in Lamar County, under the direction of Dowdle Funeral Home, Millport, AL.
Survivors include three sons, Grafton Trull, Bill Trull, and Bob Trull; two daughters, Ethel Vann and Margaret Hodges, all of Kennedy, AL; one brother, Willie C. (Bill) Godfrey, New Mexico; 22 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and 1 on the way, 7 great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were her grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 62 years, Gray Trull; a son, Banks Trull; sisters Ratha Godfrey, Addie Lou Moore, Ruth Peddicord; brothers, Franklin, Hubert, and Roy Godfrey; grandchildren, Tina, Toby and Bobby Trull.
