GEORGETOWN Ralph L. Beach Jr., 90, died Sunday, Mar. 6, 2005, in Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Md.

Mr. Beach was born in East Orange, N. J. on Nov. 18, 1914, a son of the late Ralph Lester Beach and Emma Homan Payne Beach. He grew up in N. J. and Ohio and attended Union College in Schenectady, N. Y. and Rutgers in New Brunswick, N. J. Mr. Beach was employed with the Container Division of International Paper Co. in various locations including Georgetown and retired after forty-three years employment. He returned to Georgetown to live in 1978. Mr. Beach moved to Berlin, Md. after the death of his wife, Marjory Bell Covell Beach. He was a member of Prince George , Winyah, Episcopal Church and a former Junior Warden of the church.

Surviving are: a grandson, Michael A. Levy of Parsonsburg, Md.; a granddaughter, Melissa Levy of New York City, N. Y. and a grandson, Dillon Levy of Parsonsburg, Md.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Thursday afternoon, Mar. 10, 2005, at the graveside in Prince George , Winyah, Episcopal Churchyard in Georgetown. Officiating will be the Rev. Paul C. Fuener.
